Territory requirements | Applications are NOT accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): European Union. This procedure applies to foreign citizens from non-EU countries who wish to enroll in bachelor’s and master’s programs organized at Politehnica University of Timișoara, as well as in the Romanian language preparatory year at UPT. |

Language requirements | English If you do not have an English language certificate such as TOEFL, Cambridge, IELTS, LCCI, TRINITY ISE, ECL, you may take an online test at the INTERLINGUA Center of UPT. Please note that this process may take approximately three weeks. The application process cannot proceed until you receive your test result and upload it here. Additionally, a fee of 40 EUR plus transfer fees applies. Native speakers — Candidates coming from countries where the official language is the same as the language of instruction are exempt from this test, provided they can present official school documents proving that they studied in that language for at least two years. |

Overview
By this study program, the field of Civil Engineering looks to prepare designated professionals able to develop efficient solutions in the fundamental urban development issue of designing, accomplishment and operation of water supply and sewerage engineering arrangements, such as fresh water catchment, treatment, storage and distribution construction works or used water collection and cleaning systems.
Selective subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Protection, Ground Surveying, Structures Mechanics, Soil Mechanics and Foundations, Concrete Structures, Steel Structures, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics, Hydrology, Water Management, Water Arrangements, Water Catchment and Treatment, Water Supply Systems, Water Resources Protection, Sewerage Systems, Used Water Cleaning, Operation and Maintenance of Sanitary Arrangements, Constructions Technologies and Management.
The civil engineers graduates specialized according to the SEEP program are sought by either private companies and designing offices or administration departments involved in planning, execution or maintenance of specific water provision related works and schemes.
