Overview
In 1966 our faculty proudly delivered to the country the very first batch specialized in “electronic computing”; we have since remained committed to delivering top-class excellence in the whole range of computer engineering. We cover all types of education: Bachelor (4 years), Master (2 years), and PhD (3 years), in both Romanian and English.
The study programmes in Romanian and English are identical, but having more students taught in Romanian allows for a more diversified choice of elective courses. There also exist a number of optional, extra-curricular activities delivered alongside. Our students are set to acquire real-life engineering skills, which enables successful dealing with any issue arising inside a high-tech environment. In short, from understanding and designing algorithms to creating digital computing systems that will interconnect with sensors and actuators, whether the target is an app or a robot, intelligent or autonomous, we will find a way to cover the subject and deliver a rewarding experience.
We provide a competitive learning environment that is meant to stimulate creativity, scientific and technical initiatives, as well as personal development.
