Territory requirements | Applications are NOT accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): European Union. This procedure applies to foreign citizens from non-EU countries who wish to enroll in bachelor’s and master’s programs organized at Politehnica University of Timișoara, as well as in the Romanian language preparatory year at UPT. |

Language requirements | English If you do not have an English language certificate such as TOEFL, Cambridge, IELTS, LCCI, TRINITY ISE, ECL, you may take an online test at the INTERLINGUA Center of UPT. Please note that this process may take approximately three weeks. The application process cannot proceed until you receive your test result and upload it here. Additionally, a fee of 40 EUR plus transfer fees applies. Native speakers — Candidates coming from countries where the official language is the same as the language of instruction are exempt from this test, provided they can present official school documents proving that they studied in that language for at least two years. |

Overview
The core mission of the master’s program is to train engineers with outstanding competencies in management by pursuing master’s studies in the fields of Engineering and Management, and by developing scientific research capabilities in the areas of quality and competitiveness—fields that are particularly dynamic in the current economic context.
The objectives of the master’s program focus on developing specific competencies and skills in Quality and Competitiveness Engineering and Management by building upon the knowledge acquired during undergraduate studies, as well as by enhancing scientific research capacities based on modern concepts supported by technological advancement.
The objectives of the IMCC master’s program are oriented towards:
- training specialists capable of structuring and developing quality departments within Romanian and international companies;
- implementing modern principles, methods, and tools of quality and competitiveness management within the business environment;
- elaborating expert reports and providing technical-economic consultancy on issues related to quality and competitiveness engineering and management.
