Territory requirements | Applications are NOT accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): European Union. This procedure applies to foreign citizens from non-EU countries who wish to enroll in bachelor’s and master’s programs organized at Politehnica University of Timișoara, as well as in the Romanian language preparatory year at UPT. |

Language requirements | English If you do not have an English language certificate such as TOEFL, Cambridge, IELTS, LCCI, TRINITY ISE, ECL, you may take an online test at the INTERLINGUA Center of UPT. Please note that this process may take approximately three weeks. The application process cannot proceed until you receive your test result and upload it here. Additionally, a fee of 40 EUR plus transfer fees applies. Native speakers — Candidates coming from countries where the official language is the same as the language of instruction are exempt from this test, provided they can present official school documents proving that they studied in that language for at least two years. |

Overview
The objective of the program is to train engineers with advanced expertise in the field of communication networks.
The mission of the program is defined by the following competencies: selecting, synthesizing, and comparatively evaluating theoretical concepts, models, techniques, and analysis methods in the field of telecommunications; collecting and interpreting relevant data from telecommunications networks to solve problems and apply this knowledge creatively in design; solving problems by integrating complex information sources from both specialized and related fields in new contexts; developing hardware and software applications for telecommunications networks using up-to-date technologies.
In addition to these skills, the program also aims to develop and highlight specific abilities, such as: designing and operating communication systems of various levels of complexity, based on modern principles, such as those in the 4G and 5G (IoT) categories; leading complex development projects in the field of communications and related services, aligned with the economic, educational, or social needs of organizations.
After completing their studies, graduates can strengthen their positions within dynamic and creative tech companies, such as Nokia, Intel Movidius, SafeFleet, Continental, Oce Canon, Saguaro Technologies, Cobalt Sign, or Huff.
