Overview
The mission of the study program: The training of translators and interpreters for the fields: economic, scientific, technical, administrative, legal and cultural, according to the requirements of the labor market in the country and abroad. The formation of graduates capable of perfecting themselves through master’s and doctoral level studies, by training them to carry out research projects and tasks coordinated by the departments involved in the implementation of the program.

Career opportunities
Graduates of the Translation and Interpreting programme (English; French/German), coordinated by the Faculty of Communication Sciences, can pursue careers such as: generalist translators, interpreters, liaison interpreters, terminologists, mediators, proofreaders for translation agencies, newspapers or publishing houses, desktop publishing specialists, translation and interpreting project managers, translation and interpreting coordinators, multilingual communication and public relations assistants, European affairs officers, documentation specialists, and subtitlers.
