Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) All applicants for master degree programmes should hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent diploma As part of the application process, the applicants will be required to upload : a copy and a legally certified translation (in Romanian, English or French) of the Baccalaureate diploma. The document shall be authenticated by the competent authorities in the issuing country OR a copy and legally certified translation of the certificate attesting the successful passing of the bachelor’s degree examination for graduates of the current year if the original diploma has not yet been issued AND Transcripts of academic records/ Diploma supplements – copies and legally certified translations, afferent to the studies completed AND Baccalaureate diploma or its equivalent – copy and legally certified translation (in Romanian, English or French). The document shall be authenticated by the competent authorities in the issuing country; The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / French / Romanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Territory requirements	Applications are NOT accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): European Union. This procedure applies to foreign citizens from non-EU countries who wish to enroll in bachelor’s and master’s programs organized at Politehnica University of Timișoara, as well as in the Romanian language preparatory year at UPT.

Language requirements

Romanian Upload a language certificate proving a proficiency level of at least B1 according to the CEFR. If you do not have a Romanian language certificate, you may: Apply for the Romanian language preparatory year at UPT OR Upload a certificate confirming the completion of the Romanian language preparatory year OR Upload study documents (diplomas) or school records certifying at least four consecutive years of study conducted in Romanian at a school within the Romanian national education system.
