Overview
This master’s program provides students with advanced knowledge in the field of hydraulic machines, the study of cooling systems for electronic components found in vehicles, as well as skills in scientific research, creating a solid foundation for successful integration into the labor market. The research-related skills acquired represent excellent preparation for pursuing the highest level of higher education—doctoral studies.
The main objective of this program is to train engineers by expanding upon the knowledge gained during the Bachelor’s specialization in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Machines and Systems, and beyond. Students enrolled in this specialization learn to use software from the ANSYS suite, such as Workbench, the Fluent program for numerical simulation of flow with heat transfer, and SpaceClaim for geometric reconstruction.
All these programs are used by engineers working in major companies in the automotive sector and beyond, such as Continental, Hella, Mahle, and Zoppas. Additionally, students gain essential knowledge in the field of hydraulic and pneumatic actuation and automation systems, learn to use high-performance measuring instruments in fluid engineering, and discover how to design hydraulic networks found both in vehicles and in municipal water and gas supply systems.
