Overview
The mission of the program is to train highly qualified specialists at the master’s level, with research and development skills, in the field of Data Engineering.
The program will enable students to acquire the following competencies:
- designing information system architectures for acquiring, storing, and using data at the organizational level;
- managing data throughout its lifecycle, processing it to eliminate redundancy, minimize dependency, and increase consistency;
- collecting and evaluating large volumes of data to identify hidden patterns;
- applying statistical analysis models and techniques, as well as information and communication tools, for data analysis in order to discover correlations and generate predictions;
- applying techniques for data analysis, validation, and quality assurance;
- developing software programs for data processing using appropriate programming languages, so that an ICT system delivers the expected output based on given inputs;
- creating documents or presentations to communicate research results, outlining the procedures and analysis methods used, as well as potential interpretations of the results;
- using visual and interactive techniques for data presentation to enhance understanding.
