Overview
This master’s programme is an advanced, interdisciplinary study programme, primarily intended for graduates with a background in hydrotechnical engineering, within the field of civil engineering.
The programme is aimed at graduates who wish to acquire additional knowledge in the area of water and wastewater infrastructure (urban water supply and sewerage systems), as well as environmental protection, with the possibility of continuing their professional development through doctoral studies.
Scientific research activities, combined with theoretical and practical instruction through lectures, seminars, and laboratory work, are designed to provide highly qualified, practice-oriented training. The focus is on optimizing the operation and maintenance of sanitary engineering and environmental protection systems, covering all types of constructions required for water supply works, water and soil decontamination, and the collection, transport, and neutralization of urban waste.
