Overview
The “Printing Techniques” programme is a professional master’s degree jointly delivered by academic staff from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection.
It is intended for individuals who have completed related bachelor’s programmes or similar specializations in applied engineering sciences or related fields. The purpose of this master’s programme is to enhance the professional training of graduates so they can meet the demands of emerging trends in the field. Over the course of four semesters, future specialists will acquire knowledge and skills in printing processes, printing materials, computer-aided layout and editing, printing on various substrates, packaging and eco-design, as well as management, marketing, and entrepreneurship in the printing industry, media legislation and copyright, multimedia, graphic design, and more.
This is a forward-looking programme, considering the development of the packaging and labeling sector, the emergence of innovations such as active and smart packaging, the increasing need for quality assurance and quality management, and the use of new materials.
