Overview
The Green and Circular Economy professional master’s programme is unique in Romania and is aimed both at professionals already in the workforce and at recent bachelor’s graduates who wish to acquire new competencies related to business sustainability and become agents of change at a critical time for the environment.
The learning methods and tools used in this programme ensure strong connections to the professional field, practice-based research, personalized guidance, individualized study plans, multidisciplinary teamwork, and a transformational leadership approach.
By completing this four-semester programme, students will gain knowledge in: understanding the systemic changes needed for the transition to a green and circular economy; applying new principles and concepts that support the shift from a linear to a circular economic model; introducing new operational models and innovative solutions to decouple economic growth from resource consumption; understanding and implementing critical and integrative thinking by considering the life cycle of products and services; and developing the capacity to initiate and plan industrial symbiosis projects.
