Overview
The mission of the IMMI specialization is to train graduate engineers with advanced education in the fundamental field of engineering sciences, with a focus on environmental protection and management, while also engaging in their own scientific research activities in support of the interested business sector.
Considering current environmental challenges, over the course of the four semesters of study, graduates will acquire knowledge and skills in: optimizing technologies in the field of environmental protection; implementing new, energy-efficient and non-polluting technologies to increase the reliability and durability of products; addressing complex issues related to improving the performance of industrial equipment; and being introduced to forward-looking areas such as environmental quality monitoring, environmental legislation, integrated waste management, industrial pollution control, and water treatment.
The study programme aligns with the demands of the labor market and the qualifications required by the economic environment, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to keep up with the rapid development of this field.
