Overview
This master programme is addressed to all university graduates with an interest in the field of heritage conservation. Potential candidates may include young graduates from fields such as Architecture, Landscape Design, Public Administration, Geography, Archaeology, etc., who are seeking to specialize professionally in restoration. The programme also targets professionals already working in the restoration field who wish to deepen their knowledge and enhance their expertise.
The programme spans 2 years (4 semesters) and includes lectures, seminars, projects, and a final dissertation exam.
Acquired competencies:
- History, theory, and methods of restoration
- Investigative survey and restoration project development
- Restoration and regeneration project context – spatial, social, and cultural studies
- Professional practice in the field of restoration and environmental regeneration
- Restoration and regeneration project management
- Performing professional tasks with integrity, ethics, and in compliance with legal standards, in order to uphold the reputation of the profession
- Identifying, describing, and implementing project management processes, taking on team roles, and clearly and concisely presenting results verbally and in writing, both in Romanian and in an international language
- Demonstrating creativity, initiative, and action in updating professional, economic, and organizational knowledge
